Cabinet of Curiosities

This project focusses on weird and wonderful objects that fascinated people of the Victorian era. Often prized in display cases known as ‘Cabinets of Curiosities’. Extracting patterns and textures from archaeological and paleontological findings such as plant and animal fossils, bones and crystals. unusual prints such as florals made from skeletons, fossil-inspired textures and patterns spurring from vintage maps and kaleidoscopes (an invention that became popular during the victorian era) feature throughout this collection. This collection utilises cutting edge laser technology and digital printing. Suitable for interiors, soft furnishings; as well as statement fashion tops, dresses and denim apparel.
